Precision Rolled Ballscrews
Our C7 grade (.0018/ft) ballscrew assemblies are superior in straightness and are polished for smooth operation comparable to ground ballscrews. Care is taken to ensure that the outside diameter is concentric with the balltrack – an important feature if you are handling your own end machining.
The zero backlash ballnuts are hardened and precision ground inside and out. Preload is accomplished by offsetting the balltracks, not by using oversized balls which leads to premature failure. The ballnuts have plastic seals and a lubrication port to promote a long service life.
Please note that screw stock is cut to specified lengths at no additional charge.

END MACHINING
We offer a standard end machining to match BK/BF type support units. These come in two diameter sizes according to the size of the ballscrew (see the END SUPPORT page for more details).
Fixed End machining threaded section to accommodate the locknut and comes with an output shaft for coupling or pulley attachment. You may specify the out shaft diameter to any size that is smaller than the inside diameter of the support block’s bearings.
